There are four words that spark an emotion in most people that is hard to describe. A feeling of excitement, anticipation and possibly even fear – All You Can Eat.

A quality all-you-can-eat restaurant is rare with most sacrificing quality for quantity but one Japanese restaurant has mastered the fine line and is offering endless amounts of sushi at a superior quality.

The menu was designed by a Nobu opening chef with over 20 years of knowledge in Japanese cuisine and 15 years locally in Australia, Nijumaru is also the only Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant locally owned and operated in Adelaide-also being the first founders to bring this unique concept to the city.

Nijumaru first hit the Adelaide food scene in 2020 with its first restaurant opening in Glenelg and quickly became a crowd favourite offering all-you-can-eat Japanese with over 50 delicious dishes to choose from.

And now, Nijumaru has opened its second location in Prospect making it even easier to satisfy all your sushi needs. Nijumaru is synonymous with the highest-grade quality ingredients – you’ll be hard done by to find fresher sashimi anywhere else!

You can expect to find all your favourites like salmon sashimi, karaage chicken and hand rolls but the menu also boasts more lavish dishes such as braised beef shin and breaded mackerel should you be feeling fancy. And if a particular sushi roll or sashimi catches your eye, diners can order as many individual items as they like, without have to order an entire platter to get to it.

Expertly made sushi nigiri, tender beef tataki, and traditional Japanese street delicacies okonomiyaki and takoyaki are on offer to tempt the palate, with vegan and gluten-free dishes available.

And no good meal is complete without dessert and Nijumaru offers a selection of traditional after-dinner treats to top off the evening.

From only $43 for adults and $23 for children under 12, you can challenge the limits of your stomach and tuck into as many of the 50 dishes as you like. You could even make a game out of it! (Sushi Bingo anyone?).

Not only do they serve traditional, high-quality Japanese food, Nijumaru strives to offer a fun and memorable dine-in experience with its ambient setting and professional staff all adding to your night out.

But it’s not just exceptional food offered by the team, Nijumaru has also made quite a name for themselves in the drinks department serving up Japanese and international whiskeys, funky cocktails (try the Japanese Slipper to keep in theme) and of course Japan’s very own famed liqueur with a Sake or Umeshu for every occasion.

Nijumaru Prospect is located at North Park Shopping Centre – 50/264 Main North Road, Prospect 5082.

Nijumaru Glenelg is located at 20 Jetty Road, Glenelg 5045
